Babis Voulgaris studied Economics and International Relations at Tufts University in Boston, where he gained a solid understanding of global market dynamics and strategic management. Currently, he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Voulgaris Hospitality Group, a family-owned enterprise that manages three luxury hotels on the island of Corfu, Greece. 

His focus has been on elevating these properties into award-winning destinations that showcase authentic Greek hospitality and innovative guest experiences. Beyond his role at the Voulgaris Hospitality Group, he is deeply involved in advancing Greece’s tourism sector. He is the President of the Corfu Hoteliers Association, advocating for sustainable growth and greater competitiveness within the island’s tourism industry. 

He also serves on the boards of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels (ΞEE), and the Institute for Tourism Research and Forecasts, where he contributes insights and strategic direction to support the national tourism agenda. His commitment to sustainable development extends beyond the hospitality sector. He is a member of the steering committee of the Ionian Islands Environmental Foundation, promoting environmental stewardship across the Ionian region.
