Over 25 years he's worked at the intersection of financial services, digital innovation and startup ecosystems across Southern and Central Eastern Europe. He's led enterprise transformation programmes, built corporate incubators, coached 100+ startups, and co-founded two companies. His work spans 10+ industries and has taken him across various European countries.
Through Hippocampus.io, he works with companies at pivotal moments — when they need to build something new, enter a new market, scale what's working, or prepare for investment. He operates as a strategic advisor, fractional COO, or embedded innovation lead depending on what the engagement needs.
Recent work includes:
- Co-founding Packio, a reusable packaging infrastructure platform for logistics and e-commerce
- Scaling a last-mile PUDO company (Clever Services) 2× in revenue, 6.2× in transactions and 3.6× in network coverage over 28 months, as fractional COO — culminating in a €2M equity raise
- Designing a global corporate Innovation Challenge for a gaming software leader (Intralot), with sprint methodology and community advocacy baked in — outputs shipped into core products
- Developing product roadmaps and EU market-entry strategies across F&B, CRM, cosmetics, para-pharma and renewables IoT
Before Hippocampus.io, he spent more than a decade at Eurobank, where he led the EGG incubation programme (Europe's first FI-funded accelerator programme), launched the bank's first fintech hackathon across 4 SEE countries, and managed a Group-wide portfolio of ~800 projetcs per year with a €35–50M annual investment budget across 7 countries (Banks & Banking Subsidiaries).
He's also a PMP-certified programme manager, a Lean Six Sigma practitioner, an H2020 Expert Assessor for the European Commission, and an EBRD SME Advisor.
Outside client work, he judges and mentors at MIT Enterprise Forum/ Smart Start (SEE & CEE), The South Summit, Ashoka, Diamond Challenge (University of Delaware) and CapsuleT, among others, and I'm a member of EBAN.
