Simeon Trimeritis is a senior executive in the field of data protection and information security, with extensive experience in shaping strategies that strengthen compliance, reliability, and operational resilience across organizations. At PwC Greece, he designs and implements comprehensive data protection frameworks, ensuring transparency and full alignment with regulatory and business requirements. 

In his role as Data Protection Officer, he guides corporate strategies related to data governance, privacy, information security, business continuity, and IT risk management. By emphasizing the strategic use of data as a business asset, he contributes to enhancing organizational resilience and fostering innovation. 

Since 2018, he has been active as a trainer and instructor in specialized GDPR seminars for corporate and public sector professionals, delivering practical knowledge and actionable compliance methodologies. His teaching approach focuses on real-world examples, risk based methodologies, and best practices for effective implementation of the regulation. 

Prior to joining PwC, he participated in large scale IT projects in Greece and the Balkans, contributing to system implementations, digital transformation initiatives, and technology solutions for high criticality organizations—experience that deepens his technical and operational expertise in data protection and information governance. 

Simeon Trimeritis was born in Piraeus in 1973, is married, and has two children. He holds the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISM, and CDPSE certifications.
