As hotel guests, we are often frustrated by the time and effort it takes to find activities and tours during our holidays. HotelStand enables hoteliers to solve this problem. With HotelStand’s web platform, hoteliers can modernize their concierge services by enabling guests to digitally discover and book tours and activities recommended by their hotel. The hoteliers are rewarded for this curation by earning commissions each time guests book. In a country whose economy is predominantly driven by tourism, Hotelstand makes holiday visits easier, safer and more enjoyable. We offer an intuitive Online Reputation Management (ORM) platform that helps hotels make effective data-driven decisions, monitor all user-generated content online and engage with their guests.
The problem
Hotel guests, not having knowledge of the area, or even the options available, seek to enrich their stay by seeking activities and tours they can enjoy. On platforms like Tripadvisor they are presented with a multitude of choices and naturally feel insecure about what to choose. They seek to lessen this insecurity by asking the hotel reception about possible activities or tours they recommend. Always helpful, the receptionists needs to take the time to verbally present the options available, usually with limited or no resources like photos, detailed descriptions, menus, prices etc. Hotelstand seeks to modernize this process for both hoteliers and guests.
Our proposal
HotelStand offers an online platform to help hotel guests discover and book curated activities, tours and restaurants in an intuitive, quick and modern way. Hotel Guests can view and book activities recommended by the hotel either on their cell phones by scanning a QR code located in their rooms, or via tablets located on the hotel lobby. Upon Booking they will receive an SMS or mail with Booking details including direction instructions to the venue. Hotel receptionists are also able to perform booking in a frictionless way through our platform using their computer and not by having consuming phone calls.
